Real Madrid prepared for their Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City with a 1-0 win over Getafe this weekend. Marco Asensio scored the winner for Los Blancos. But they were handed a concern as well, asEduardo Camavingaseemed to pick up an issue and was forced off the pitch in the 84th minute.
Camavinga was in the starting XI against Getafe. But the Frenchman appeared to suffer a leg injury while challenging for the ball.
That will of course worry Real Madrid fans. Camavinga has been a key player for Carlo Ancelotti’s side after the World Cup and is one of the first names on the scoresheet these days.
There seems to be some good news for Real Madrid regarding the situation of Camavinga though. The initial assessment appears to be that the situation is nothing serious and he should be fit to take on Manchester City in the second leg in midweek.
