Ghanaian comic actor Yaw Dabo faced dozens of online trolling following Manchester City’s stunning demolition of Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League final race.
The actor, who owns a football academy, had gained attention with his post-match comments after the first leg in Madrid, where he confidently expressed his belief that Madrid would advance.
His remarks earned him the admiration of Real Madrid fans, and he was even invited to the office of Marca, a prominent sports newspaper in Madrid, where he reiterated Madrid’s lack of fear towards City and their status as favourites for the second leg at the Etihad.
However, City seemed to have drawn inspiration from Dabo’s comments and delivered a masterclass, overwhelming the 14-time Champions with a resounding 4-0 victory. As a result, City secured their place in the final against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
Following the game, Dabo found himself at the centre of attention once again, this time on the trend list, as fans took to social media to humorously troll him.
